At The New Shul, we believe in the power of traditional liturgy to open our hearts in prayer. We use a prayer book that follows the Hasidic Nusah Sefard, and we infuse our prayers with joyful energy through communal song. We draw heavily on the melodies of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach.
There is no separation of men and women in our services, and women and men participate as equals. The New Shul has services every Friday evening at 6 pm, and every Saturday morning beginning at 9 am. Shabbat morning services end at approximately noon, and are followed by a kiddush-lunch.
The New Shul also has services on Jewish holidays (evenings and mornings), on most Sunday mornings at 9:30 am, and on most Wednesday mornings at 7:00 am.

Our Doors are Open!
As always, our doors are open to all. There are no tickets. However, we do request donations from non-members to help us cover our expenses. The suggested donation for non-members is $180 per adult.
